This is my lovely (ha!) craft tattoo. I really love being creative and wanted my first tattoo to show that.

Cherry blossoms mean two different things in Chinese and Japanese culture: female power and that life is short. “Three little birds…singin, ‘Don’t worry about a thing, cause every little thing is gonna be alright.’” Doves are symbols of God and peace, canaries are symbolic of the power of your voice and singing, Ed Sheeran is my favorite artist and a ginger with a song called Little Bird (why he’s an orange canary), and blue jays are symbols of happiness and good luck.
TL;DR: I really like symbolism.

I got this cardinal feather for my 21st birthday to remind me of my childhood. When I was 6 I got a cardinal on my birthday cake as I have always been fond of its bright color & I still smile whenever I see one flying around today. Done by Brian Via at Dreams Collide in Lancaster, PA.
